楠ワイナリー　

9日は、畑仕事をしてから
全日本ワイン総試飲会に参加の為上京。
大盛会で、翌日の毎日新聞東京版にも写真つきで
記事が載っていました。
全国から41のワイリーが参加、100種近いワインを
試飲することが出来ました。

ブッフェスタイルの常で、食べ物が無い！なんていう
ことも無く。美味しいお料理と全国のワインをテイスティング
出来ました。私もワイナリーとしての参加でしたが、
大変な盛会に感激でした。日本ワインに造詣の深い
お客様方ともいろいろと話ができてよかったです。
提供したワインも、概ね好評だったようです。

そして翌日はワイン東京2012、今年は開場と同時に
お客さんが多く訪れてこちらも大盛況でしたね。
この2日間大分勉強になりました。

それにしても、日本各地のワインの品質がとても上がって
いて驚きました。長野県は栽培適地だなどと安閑としては
いられません。皆さんとんでもない努力をしていい葡萄を
作っています。おそらく、そういう作り手の努力や
姿勢が消費者にも伝わっているんだろうなと思いました。
私ももっともっと頑張らねば！

After busy work in the vineyard, I left for Tokyo to attend
all Japan Wine Tasting Banquet in Tokyo. It seemed very
much successful session with so many wine lovers. The
Mainichi Shinbun picked it up on the morning paper
on the next day. Forty One wineries supplied with around
one hundred wines.

The buffet banquet was with good enough dishes so I did not
worry about how soon the food would be emptied. Tasty foods
and so many good wines were very much appreciated. I was
happy to meet and chat with Japanese wine lovers. Luckily
my wines seemed well accepted by the guests.

On the following day, I participated in Wine Tokyo 2012
which was another successful event. I learned a lot from
the both events.

Especially I was surprised with the improved quality of
the Japanese wines from all over Japan. I cannot relax with
the quality of Nagano wines for its excellent weather conditions.
I can tell other grape growers and winemakers have put incredible
efforts to make good wines in every corner of Japan. Such enthusiasm
and attitude may have move the consumers, I guess. I have to shed
more sweat in every moment or I will find myself far behind from
them. The harder I work, the better my wine will be!

友人達が送ってくれた樹を植えました。
冬の間殺風景だったショップの前庭が
少しずつ変ってゆきます。
居心地の良い場所に。

諸説ありますが、なんでもクスノキにちなんだ
樹なんだそうです。皆様ありがとうございます。

Friends of mine sent me a tree as a gift for
the opening of the winery. A dreary landscape
of the shop during winter has started to change
for a more comfortable place.

The tree is said to have something to do with camphor tree
(kusunoki tree).

今週は東京で試飲会が2日続けてあります。
楠わいなりーはいずれも出展します。

5月9日　全日本ワイン総試飲会
於如水会館2階（千代田区）　一般向、参加費6,000円。
19時15分－21時。日本全国のチーズも出るらしい。

5月10日　ワイン東京2012
於東京流通センター第1展示場Ｄホール。料飲店、酒販店対象、入場無料。
10時‐17時。東日本最大のワイン試飲展示会。

お会いできるのを楽しみにしています。

There are two wine tasting event in Tokyo for two days in a row.
Kusunoki Winery will be participating in both as exhibitor.

May 9 All Japan Wine Tasting.
Venue: Jyosui Kaikan 2F (Chiyoda-ku) Open admission @6,000yen per person.
Time: 19h15 – 21h00. Special cheese from Japanese cheese houses will be served.

May 10 Wine Tokyo 2012
Veneu: Tokyo Ryutsu Center, D Hall at Exhibition Bldg. No.1.
Limited to restaurants, hotels and bottle shops. Free Admission.
10h00 – 17h00. The biggest wine tasting exhibition in Kanto area.

好天に恵まれて昨日2回目のＢＢＱ
やりました。ご近所の方やお客様方など
お誘いあわせで来て頂いてありがとう
ございます。周囲の山々大分色づき、
初夏の雰囲気でしたね。

畑の向こうに見える山も輝き始め
カシスの花も地味に咲いています。

We enjoyed 2nd BBQ at the winery for the
Golden Week. Neighbors and the visitors
came to enjoy with us. Thank you very much
for your coming. It was almost early summer
with the warm weather and the comfortable
breeze.

The mountains beyond the vineyards have started
shining and the small flowers of black currant
are in bloom now.

ショップの備品を買いに来た
ついでに一息。
眠たい日もあるのです。

I had a cup of coffee in town after purchasing
a small stool for the cellar door. I was sleepy
whole day today.
